I hold a 50 Ton Master’s license with Auxiliary Sail and Towing Assistance Endorsements and have been sailing the Chesapeake Bay since retirement
from the U.S. Marine Corps in 2002, where I flew and maintained helicopters. I previously worked as an Assistant Harbor Master in Annapolis, Maryland. I'm also an orientation and delivery Captain with several yacht dealerships in Maryland and a charter Captain aboard several commercial vessels in the Baltimore, Annapolis, and DC areas. A National Safe Boating Council, (NSBC) Certified Instructor, member of the Chesapeake Area Professional Captains Association and the Marine Trades Association of Maryland.
